Thank you for visiting the STAR Academy College Preparatory School website. My goal, as principal, is to ensure that STAR Academy's students receive a stellar education, rich with academic rigor, infused with opportunities for character building, and founded upon experiences that increase self-efficacy. I desire for our students to graduate from college, prepared to overcome life's challenges and lead the world into a better, brighter, tomorrow.

Our academic foundation rests on the 5 R's - Reading, WRiting, ARithmetic, Reasoning, and Respect. We will continue to build on this foundation with a holistic educational program that emphasizes the attainment of in-depth knowledge and concept development, through evidence-based instruction that is differentiated, direct, and dynamic!

STAR Academy is a unique learning environment with expectations that exceed mediocrity for our students, parents, faculty/staff, and governing board. We are a beacon in the community as a school of educational excellence and we will continue to illuminate the Memphis community, Tennessee and our nation, as a forerunner in advocacy for our children's futures.
