Situated at the very heart of this dynamic, stimulating city, STAR Academy is warm and friendly and offers the highest standards of learning. Having developed its reputation for being the 2nd oldest charter school in Memphis, TN and exceeding educational expectations annually, today’s school has 315 students aged 5-10, representing several nationalities. 

 

Our experienced teachers, largely recruited from all over the U.S., are consummate professionals who are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that all students are offered the opportunity to fulfill their potential both in and beyond the classroom. The result is that, students are prepared for college entry and completion. 

 

We are justifiably proud of our academic performance but, with the high expectations of our board and community partners underpinning all that we do, education here means so much more than the pursuit of top grades. Sports and the arts, community service and adventurous activity are all central to the balanced programs we offer at STAR Academy.
